Fischer’s book, Christmas in New York: A Pop-Up Book (Little/Brown) was on the Barnes and Noble Bestseller list two years in a row, was featured on The Today Show and is currently in its third printing.

FISCHER is known for creating a distinctive fantasy mood through his designs and painting. The acquisitions committee of the COOPER-HEWITT MUSEUM, THE NATIONAL DESIGN MUSEUM voted to include FISCHER’S wallpaper and fabric designs for inclusion in the museum’s permanent collection. In 2005, FISCHER spent a month in Rome, Italy as a Visiting Artist at the AMERICAN ACADEMY IN ROME. Designs by CHUCK FISCHER reflect his extensive travels, meticulous research of many important decorative painting styles, and his inexhaustible knowledge of historic interior design.
